E is for Echo Flower Shawl - E -huivi

My letter E knitting challenge project was Echo Flower shawl. I love it.

Kahelien E-haasteneuleena tein Echo Flower huivin. Ja se on i h a n a.

Pattern: Echo Flower Shawl by Jenny Johnson Johnen
Yarn: Posh Yarn Eva in Grasshopper
Needles: 4mm

This is one of those projects that looks so much more complicated than it actually is. The flower lace used throughout is very simple to knit and still it looks spectacular. Cast off method of this shawl was all new to me - it produces an edge that looks like little nubbs. Very heavy and decorative. So cool.
I also love Posh yarn Eva yarn. It's cashmere / silk blend and wonderfully soft to touch. Also has a great drape and lustre.
I have 2 more skeins of the same yarn (in same colourway as well...) so I will probably knit another shawl with it someday in future. Lovely yarn.

Iso osa huivista on todella simppeliä kukkapitsiä.

Posh Yarnin Eva on taas Posh Yarnia parhaimmillaan.

Oh WOW!!! Just absolutely gorgeous and the yarn looks delicious (lighter greens are the best this time of year). Did this pattern have nupps too?

Sigrun: Thank you!

Berenike: Thanks -. yes there are nupps (again...) but for some reason they weren't pain in the butt to knit like normally - don't know why... (and I made my nupps with/9 - stitches instead of 7stitches the pattern called for. )Maybe I've finally learned how to knit nupps without too much needle - wrestlin;-)
