Whisper Cuff Cardigan

Another cardigan from my stash knitting project - Whisper Cuff Cardigan from Inspired to knit. (which is a very nice knitting book indeed. Lots of good hints about seeking inspiration & how to modify designs etc.. )

Seuraava lankahamsterineule - tällä kertaa romanttinen neuletakki Michele Rose Ornen kirjasta Inspired to knit. (tuo kirja on kyllä ihan hintansa väärti, oikein kaunis ja hyviä vinkkejä inspiraation muuntamiseen valmiiksi neuleiksi jne...)
Pattern: Whisper cuff cardigan by Michele Rose Orne from Inspired to knit (ravelry)
Yarn: Novita Aino approx. 500g and Rowan Kidsilk Night in "Fountain" (just a bit for the cuff detail)
Needles: 6mm & 5mm (used 150cm Knitpicks cable & 5mm harmony ends for the edge of the cardi - very handy as there were over 500sts in the end...)
Cuff detail - laceweight mohairblend knitted on same 6mm needles (intarsia) to achieve lovely lacy flutter. I really like this detail. It brings just enough aeriness and a bit of glitter...
Hihansuun ihanainen ja kevyt yksityiskohta: ohuella mohairsilkkisekoitteella neulottu "pitsi", joka keventää ja tuo vähän kimallusta elämään...

I like this one quite a lot. I think Aino is good choice for it and of course Kidsilk Night is always wonderful. Almost decadent...
